Granary board is sourced from the grain bins and storage compartments found within the barn walls, and therefore protected from the elements throughout the decades. It is “seasoned” beautifully with age rather then weathered – and displays a warm honey patina and visible saw marks. Boards may also display minor stains, nail-holes and worm holes. Beautiful when installed in it’s original condition, granary board, when sealed, deepens in patina and translates into a finished quality that is impossible to find in new wood.
Boards will vary in thickness from 1″ and over and generally range from 8 to 18 inches wide with lengths from 4 to 16 feet.
